New art installment at the Argent Condos

Art installation at the Argent Condos.

Today a sculpture was installed at the Argent Condos, which are nearing completion. I am not a very artistic person, but my initial impression is that I like them. They are not just a sculpture on the side of a park, but rather the sidewalk goes right through it. A little industrial, a little organic. That might describe South Silver Spring rather well.

I can't seem to find any reference to who designed them or what if anything they represent. I did find that in page 5 of this PDF, there is some sort of walkway art in the artist rendering.
